“Inuk” Film set in Greenland to open Anchorage International Film Festival | adn.com

The Anchorage International Film Festival has announced this year’s selections, which will screen at various venues around town from Dec. 2 to Dec. 11. Among the highlights is opening night selection “Inuk,” [trailer http://youtu.be/5fBkfXvhzTE ] More than 100 films were chosen for this year’s festival, including international selections from Italy, Poland, Rwanda, Israel, Pakistan and India. Awards will be given for best feature narrative, documentary, short film, super short (10 minutes or shorter), animation, family and youth media as well as the annual Snowdance category, which showcases movies by Alaskans or about Alaska.
